SunGrow Post-Surgery Soft Cone Dog & Cat Recovery Collar, Pink, Small

About this product

Your precious pet can still show off his sunny personality while healing from an injury with the Post-Surgery Soft Cone Dog & Cat Recovery Collar from SunGrow. In the wild, dogs and cats instinctively lick their wounds to help sanitize them, but that’s not always helpful or safe in the domesticated world of stitches, bandages and medication. That's why veterinarians recommend recovery collars: to ensure those healing wounds, stitches and hot spots can heal without interference. Unlike traditional healing cones, the Recovery Collar won't make startling noises when bumped into a wall, or while your pet eats—nor will it get in the way of his peripheral vision. It will also allow him to lie down comfortably, unlike sticky plastic or inflatable collars that may stop your buddy from napping in his favorite position. Although he may initially dislike a recovery collar, the Recovery Collar helps him to adapt quickly—with the addition of positive energy, praise and, of course, tasty treats.
