Cozy Tails Waterproof Orthopedic Memory Foam Nest Dog Bed with Removable Cover, Grey, Small

Editor's note

Picked for the one thing most orthopedic beds skip, keeping liquid out of the foam. Foam that has absorbed urine holds odor, grows bacteria and never really recovers, so a washable cover on its own is not enough. The listing describes a waterproof oxford nylon cover over gel-infused memory foam. That is the cover doing the job the guide gives to a separate membrane, and it is the reason this bed is here.

This is the small size, with bolsters around the edge. That suits a lighter dog that likes to lean, and any dog that has accidents or comes in wet. A large dog that sleeps stretched out will hang off it.

Check that the cover comes off completely. Some are stitched shut on one side, which makes them awkward to wash and impossible to dry properly.
