Inaba Churu Entrée Senior Chicken Recipe with Tuna Bisque Grain-Free, High Moisture, Prebiotic Bits-in-Broth Wet Cat Food, 1.76-oz pouch, 6 count

Editor's note

For the specific and common problem of an old cat that has stopped finding food interesting. The guide's tool for that is a high-moisture, strongly aromatic product, warmed slightly, offered often, in small amounts, and this is the one it names. The listing gives 90 percent moisture in a bisque of chicken or tuna.

A fading appetite is also information. If the cat is eating less or losing weight, that goes to the vet before it goes in the bowl. Weight loss and appetite change are diagnostic, and a tastier food can hide a disease for months.

The listing calls it a complete meal. The guide's use for it is narrower, getting food into a cat that is turning its nose up, and that is what to buy it for.
