MidWest Gold Zinc Exercise Pen with Step-Thru Door, 24" tall

Editor's note

A step-through door, for a pen you enter often. That sounds trivial. The guide's view is that it is the difference between a pen that gets used and one that gets folded away. Climbing over the panels twenty times a day is how people give up on pens.

The pen itself does the job a crate cannot for a long absence, room to move and a toilet area away from the bed. At 24 inches it is a low panel, so measure it against the dog before trusting it to hold a jumper.

If the dog climbs, add a mesh roof rather than moving up to a taller panel it can still scale. And leave something to do inside it. A frozen stuffed toy turns the first twenty minutes into a job.
