Casfuy PWL-300 Wireless Smart Quiet Stainless Steel Cat Water Fountain, 108-oz

Editor's note

Cats reject anything they associate with stress, so the guide's summer interventions are the ones the cat controls. Water the cat can get to on its own terms is one of them, and this is the fountain the guide attaches for it. The listing gives a stainless steel tank, a rechargeable battery that runs up to 45 days, and the option to run plugged in or cordless.

Cordless is the useful part. It goes where the cat already rests rather than where the socket is.

Do not read a full fountain as a cool cat. The signs that matter are the flat sprawl, drooling and a raised resting breathing rate, and a panting cat is already an emergency. Cool with room-temperature water and airflow, not ice, and see a vet if it does not recover in twenty minutes.
