Doggie Stylz Portable Dog Lift Harness, Small

Editor's note

The guide includes this lighter harness for smaller dogs and for occasional use. Because it can live in a car or a bag, it is more likely to be with you when it is needed. The listing says it is simple to put on and take off.

It suits a dog that needs a lift into the car or up a step now and then. A dog that struggles to rise every day is better served by a rear-support harness kept near the door it struggles with.

Fit is where support harnesses fail. Too loose and it slides back. Too tight and it presses on the hips. Measure rather than estimate, and take it off after use to check the skin.
