DOOG 3-in-1 Neoprene Dog Water Bottle & Bowl, Blue

Editor's note

A bottle you drink from too, with the dog's bowl wrapped around it. The neoprene sleeve unwraps and snaps into a bowl. That puts this in the guide's most hygienic category, a separate bowl and an uncontaminated water source. The trade is the one the guide names. It takes two hands to set up and manage during a walk.

The listing describes the sleeve as insulated, which keeps the water cooler on a hot day, and the bowl as waterproof once snapped together.

For a large dog the bowl beats a narrow trough, since a deep-chested dog cannot lap well from a bottle top. Wash it. The guide's warning about film and smell applies to anything the water touches.
