Frisco Wall Sisal Cat Scratcher, Gray, Small

Editor's note

A cheap sisal panel for a spot the cat already uses. The guide's reasoning is that a wall-mounted surface cannot wobble and takes no floor space, and that where you put it matters more than what it costs. Screw it to the corner or the piece of furniture the cat is scratching now. That is the whole technique, not a compromise.

The listing says it also lies flat on the floor. That covers the cat that scratches horizontally, which the guide notes is often the cat everyone assumes dislikes posts.

This is the small size. A large cat wants a longer surface for a full stretch, so check the length against the cat at full reach before you buy. It is a panel, not a post, and it does one job.
