KONG Extreme Goodie Bone Dog Toy, Large

Editor's note

The same black compound as the guide's default chew, in a bone shape. That shape suits a dog that chews by gnawing along a length rather than crushing a single point. That is the reason it is here rather than as a second classic. The rubber still flexes before a tooth does and wears rather than shatters.

The listing gives a gripper at each end for stuffing, which turns a chew into a job. Frozen food takes a dog far longer to get out than dry.

Size up, every time. The chart is a minimum keyed to body weight, and it does not know your dog's jaw. In a multi-dog house, size for the largest dog and supervise, because chews are among the most reliable triggers for guarding.
