PetNF Stainless Steel Cat Water Fountain, Black, 3-L

Editor's note

If two weeks with a cheap plastic fountain showed that your cat drinks more from moving water, this is the material to own next. Stainless does not scratch the way plastic does, and scratches are where biofilm lives, so it stays appealing to the cat for longer between cleans. The listing describes a 304 stainless tray on a 3-liter tank, with the pump rated at 22 decibels.

It suits a single cat in a house where you will actually strip the fountain weekly. The guide's rule is two minutes to disassemble, or you will stop doing it, so check that before the first fill.

Keep the still bowls alongside it. Removing them to force fountain use reliably backfires, and intake falls.
