The Green Pet Shop Cool Pad Dog & Cat Bed Cover, Light Blue, Large

Editor's note

This is a cover, not the cooling pad. The listing is clear that it fits the Green Pet Shop Cool Pad, sold separately. It protects the gel pad from claws while letting the dog's weight press the gel to cool it. Buy it only if you own or are buying that pad.

The guide attaches it beside the elevated cot, as a cool spot for a dog to choose in shade with air moving. The cover makes that pad last, and it machine washes.

None of it treats heatstroke. A dog that is panting hard, drooling or unsteady on a hot day needs cooling now and a vet after, even if it looks fine thirty minutes later. Organ damage can unfold over the following days.
