You can keep an eye on your favorite feline’s health by keeping an eye on her litter with ARM & HAMMER Health IQ Cat Litter Additive. Simply add an even coating to completely cover the surface of a fresh litter box. After your kitty urinates in the litter box, wait at least four hours. The crystals will change color if they detect pH changes in your cat’s urine—which may indicate a potential urinary health condition—alerting you to consult your veterinarian. The color indicator chart on the bottle explains what the color changes mean. If colors outside the yellow or green range persist, or if your kitty seems distressed, consult your veterinarian. Reapply the additive with every newly filled litter box or as needed after scooping. Please note, this product does not replace wellness exams or veterinarian diagnosis, and it can’t detect all urine abnormalities. If you suspect a health issue with your pet, consult your veterinarian regardless of pH results from this product. For best results, do not combine Health IQ crystals with other additives containing zeolites or baking soda, as this may compromise color indicator accuracy. This additive works best with small particle size cat litters and should be stored in a cool, dry place.
