Frisco 21-in Sisal Cat Scratching Post with Toy, 2 count, Gray

Editor's note

Two posts, for two rooms. The guide's argument is location. Cats scratch on waking, after eating and at doorways, and they do it where they spend time. A single post in the spare room loses to the sofa in the room the family sits in, before height or material even come into it. Two posts in the two rooms the cat uses most beat one expensive tower.

The catch is the height. At 21 inches these are on the short side for a full adult stretch, and the guide's own floor is 24. They suit a kitten, a small cat, or a cat that scratches low.

Put each one next to the thing being damaged, not somewhere tidier.
