Julius-K9 IDC Powerharness Nylon Reflective No Pull Dog Harness, USA Flag, Mini-Mini: 15.7 to 20.9-in chest

Editor's note

The outdoor safety checklist lists this harness under visibility, for the hours around sunrise and sunset when most car-versus-dog incidents happen. It sits next to an LED light rather than replacing one.

The listing describes a reflective chest strap for low-light conditions and a water-repellent cover. Its buckles are freeze-proof, and a D-ring takes the leash. This is the Mini-Mini size, for a 15.7 to 20.9 in chest.

Keep the light on as well. The checklist asks for a light visible from about 1,000 feet in steady mode, plus a legible tag with a current phone number, before each walk.
