KONG Kickeroo Cuddler Cat Toy, Color Varies

Editor's note

A kicker, so the hunting sequence can end in a capture. A wand can only partly satisfy the last part of the pattern, where the cat holds prey with the front paws and rabbit-kicks with the back. Ending a wand session by letting the cat capture and wrestle a kicker completes the whole arc. The guide uses it as the finish for the laser pointer you probably already own too.

This one has three textures including burlap, a fluffy tail and catnip, according to the listing. Catnip does nothing for about a third of cats, so treat it as a bonus rather than the point.

It is a solo toy between sessions, and that is fine. Check it for loose parts as it wears, since small pieces that come off get swallowed.
