KONG Rewards Roll Upz Ball Treat Dispensing Dog Toy, Green, Medium

Editor's note

This ball is in the enrichment guide as the rolling option. It puts movement into feeding, which suits a dog that gets restless rather than bored. Scatter it across a room with part of the daily ration inside and the dog has to find it before it can work it.

It is a poor fit for a dog that has not been walked, since a toy does not replace exercise. Nor is it the answer for a dog that panics when you leave. That calls for a behavior plan and a conversation with your vet.

The common mistake is the filling. Whatever goes in comes out of the measured daily ration, not on top of it. Treats added to meals turn enrichment into slow weight gain.
