Leash Boss Silicone Water Fountain Mat, Gray, Medium

Editor's note

Fountains splash more than bowls. That is the entire reason this is in the guide. A mat is the difference between a fountain that stays where the old animal rests and one that gets banished to the utility room after the third puddle.

The listing describes a half-circle silicone mat with a raised lip, made to go against a wall under a fountain, a gravity bowl or an automatic feeder. It wipes clean or goes in the dishwasher.

This is the medium size. Measure the footprint of the fountain first, and leave room for the drips that land outside it. It is a mat, so there is no way for it to fail beyond being too small.

About this product

The Leashboss Silicone Water Fountain Mat is a su-paw way to keep water spills contained for less mess in your home. It’s designed for use with pet fountains, gravity water bowls and automatic dispensing feeders (sold separately). The half-circle shape allows you to push it up against a wall to save space. The subtle wave pattern not only looks great, but also provides an anti-slip surface to keep things from slipping around. The mat is easy to clean, too. Just wipe it down with a wet cloth, rinse it in the sink or pop it in the dishwasher. It’s made of non-toxic food-grade silicone, so it’s free of BPA, PVC, phthalates and other bad stuff. The extra-tall lip helps keep spills contained, so your floor stays dry, even if your furbaby is an enthusiastic drinker or likes to play with their water.
