P.L.A.Y. Pet Lifestyle and You Snuffle Mat Celebration Squeaky Plush Dog Toy

Editor's note

A snuffle mat turns a meal into a fifteen-minute nose-work session, which is why the guide includes one in its alone-day kit. For a dog whose habit when alone is pacing, finding every piece of kibble is a job that ends in success.

The listing describes a plush mat with mixed fabrics and a detachable squeaking candle, and it goes in the washing machine and dryer. The guide says washable models are worth paying a little more for, since anything on an entryway floor needs cleaning.

Use it in week one of the guide's runway, when the dog settles into its alone room. It is a short job, so pair it with a frozen stuffed chew for longer stretches.
