LickiMat Classic Soother Slow Feeder Dog Lick Mat, Green

Editor's note

A lick mat does a different job from a stuffable toy. Spreading soft food thin turns eating into a long, repetitive, low-arousal activity. That suits the wind-down end of the day and the departure window better than a high-energy puzzle does. The guide places it second, after the stuffable toy and before any puzzle board.

The listing's endorphin claim is the marketing. The long, low-arousal licking is the product.

Use the measured ration or a portion of it, not treats on top of meals. Thin rubber is chewable, so supervise it and put it away afterwards rather than leaving it down all day.
