LickiMat Playdate Non-Skid Thermoplastic Rubber Dog Bowl, Orange

Editor's note

For the dog that clears a shallow mat too quickly. The guide's advice is that a deeper pattern is the upgrade, not a bigger mat, because surface area is not the constraint. Texture depth and how much food you load are. The soft rubber squares here hold more than the ridges on the classic mat, and the base is non-skid, so it stays where you put it.

The listing pitches it for soaked kibble, wet food and frozen loads, which is where the depth pays off.

Not a first mat for a puppy or an old dog, and awkward for a flat-faced breed, which can find deep patterns frustrating. Supervise, wash, put away.
