Pawbo Crunchy SmartPhone Controlled Dog & Cat Feeder

Editor's note

The closest thing in the catalog to on-demand remote dispensing, and it has no camera at all. The guide finds that useful, because it makes the split between the two jobs unusually clear. This is the meals half.

The listing gives app scheduling, portion control, a low-food alert and a recorded meal call. Buy it for a dog whose dinner lands late because you do.

On-demand dispensing is the feature to be careful with. Useful two or three times as a test. Used daily, you are training something, probably not what you intended. And if you are buying any feeder because the dog is distressed when you leave, stop. The guide's answer is a camera you already own, three recorded departures, and a veterinary appointment before hardware.
