The listing for this carrier says almost nothing, so the guide's checklist is what you buy against. Mesh on at least two sides, and a rigid or semi-rigid base that holds its shape under the seat. A leak-proof liner, self-locking zippers, a leash clip inside for security, and a luggage-handle strap for the airport.

Airline approved is a marketing phrase. There is no single certification behind it. Check the external dimensions against your own airline's current under-seat maximum within a week of booking, and read the tightest dimension, not the longest. Height is what fails most carriers.

Then measure the dog. Nose to base of tail and floor to top of head, plus an inch or two each way, and allow for a puppy being larger on the return leg.
