Woof LickMat No Slip Silicone Dog Slow Feeder Mat, Forest Green

Editor's note

A lick mat runs the same foraging logic on a flat surface, and it is the better tool when the goal is a calm dog rather than a busy one. Slow, repetitive licking suits crate work and settles a dog that otherwise bolts a meal in seconds. That is the job the guide gives it, and it is a different job from a stuffable toy.

The listing describes silicone with suction cups for hard floors, and a built-in bowl for mixing. Suction wants a smooth surface, and the mat is short-lived unless the filling is frozen.

It is thin, chewable material. Watch how this dog treats it before it becomes an alone-time thing, and if pieces come off it is done. Whatever goes on it comes out of the daily ration, not on top.
