PETKIT Yumshare Solo with Camera Smart Automatic Dog & Cat Feeder, 3L

Editor's note

Cameras are the one soft feature on a feeder worth paying for, and not for the reason vendors advertise. The value is not watching the dog eat. It is seeing whether the dog approached the bowl at all, which is the earliest signal that something is wrong. That is the job the guide gives this one.

The listing gives a 3 liter hopper, which is about 12 cups. Capacity only means something once you divide by the daily ration, so a hopper that lasts two weeks for a small dog lasts days for a big one.

Measure your kibble against the published diameter range before you rely on it. Irregular pieces bridge the outlet and underfeed, undersized ones leak past and overfeed. And test it for a week while you are home. Jams show up in the first few cycles.
