LickiMat Soother Non-Skid Thermoplastic Rubber Dog Bowl, Orange

Editor's note

The failure that annoys people most is not the pattern. It is the mat sliding across the floor, or being picked up and carried to the sofa. This one has a non-skid base, which the guide rates as a more reliable fix than suction cups. That is the reason it is here rather than a second classic mat.

It suits a dog that pushes the mat around or lifts it, and it works as a first mat too, since the soft nubs are a shallow pattern. A dog that clears a shallow surface in a minute wants the deeper pattern in the same guide instead.

The same rules apply as for any lick mat. Supervised use only, wash it after, and nothing sweetened or containing xylitol goes on it.
